Generations of Mastery

Born on the Santa Ana Volcano

In 1952, Roberto Morales planted his first Bourbon trees on the volcanic slopes of Santa Ana — a ridge most considered too steep, too remote, too extreme. He called it a find. His family named it Finders Coffee.

We farm 280 hectares at elevations between 1,500 and 1,900 metres, where the volcanic soil and cool mountain air slow the ripening of each cherry to a pace that concentrates extraordinary sweetness, clarity, and depth.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

The Terroir of Perfection

Six natural advantages converge here, on the slopes of Santa Ana. Together they produce a cup no other farm on earth can replicate.

Volcanic Soil

Ideal Altitude

Consistent Rainfall

Shade-Grown Canopy

100% Hand-Harvest

FROM EARTH TO CUP

A Process Without Compromise

  • Our pickers, trained over years, select only cherries at precise Brix readings of 22–26°. Each passes through three human inspections before processing begins.

  • Cherries float in cold spring water for 24 hours, eliminating under-ripes by density — a practice Finders pioneered in El Salvador in 2011.

  • We offer washed, natural, and honey process lots. Every fermentation tank is temperature-controlled and monitored hourly by our dedicated lab team.

  • All lots dry on raised African beds for 18–35 days, rotated every two hours, until reaching exactly 10.5% moisture; never on tarps or concrete.

  • Green beans rest for 60 days before milling. Every lot is cupped against a 87-point minimum before being approved for release under the Finders name.

"To make the world's finest coffee you must be willing to reject what most farms would celebrate."

  • Trey D, Head of Quality
